Retirement

After turning 64 in August, I’ve been thinking about retirement. Like a lot of people I don’t have a huge amount of money saved to do this and really enjoy it. Discovering that you have to pay for Medicare after paying in to it all these years was an eye opener. Monthly Medicare is more than my health insurance through my employer and that doesn’t take in to account supplemental insurance to cover what Medicare doesn’t.
Applied for a part time job at Walmart for some income and to keep myself occupied. After working overtime all these years I think doing nothing might feel odd and get a little boring. Hope this all works out. I actually feel a little nervous letting go but my full time job is a bear and I really dislike going in every day.
