Leftovers

    First Thanksgiving with my girlfriend and her daughters, things went well although felt a little awkward. My youngest brother had our mother over and out of the nursing home for the day so I stopped by for a while. It's always nice when we can get her out of the "home" for a while since activities are somewhat limited there.
    All in all it was a great, sober, Thanksgiving. Working on the leftovers, day #2. Getting sober is the best thing I've ever done but I sometimes wonder, if I hadn't become alcoholic would it seem so great?
